About Matthew:

I am an Adelphi graduate with a degree in Computer Management Information Systems. I did work with Java throughout my college years and learned C# since I graduated. I continue to program and look for new methods and ideas from others. I have recently done freelance work in programming and web development. Through these experiences, I have learned a lot about what companies look for in a programmer.

I tend to get along well with others. I am very patient but understand when to push the student. I feel it is important to make sure the student has a good grasp of the subject. Without this, they will not really get the topic at hand. I believe the best way to learn is through lots of examples.

Both of my parents have tutored in the past so I have learned a lot through them. I even helped out recently in one of my dad's tutoring. I have helped neighbors in the past with their homework. I always received good grades in school so I know what it takes to succeed. I hope that you choose me so that I can help your child succeed.
